Deer Creek hosts the Christian Leadership Training Program. Our mission is to train Christlike leaders for the urban church. Our goals center around and are focused on five core values:
This program is offered to young men, ages 18-25, from urban communities who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and desire to become mature godly leaders. Applicants are encouraged to have a church sponsor them. Those who choose to enter our program are committing to being trained to become tomorrow's leaders among America's urban unchurched poor. During three months at Deer Creek in Colorado and 21 months at Morning Star Ranch in Kansas, the students take classes and receive vocational and work training as well as learning various life skills.
